Hockey Canada AGM Update

Couple of updates from the Hockey Canada AGM:

1.       Age change motion was deferred until next AGM

2.       A new supplemental discipline set up for minor and female hockey was approved.  Please see pages 109-112 for the new national minimum suspension guidelines effective next season. Fortunately we have bumped a lot of ours so they won’t be a bunch different.  The new coach ones are interesting – designed to hold coaches accountable for their player’s lack of discipline.  There are also now automatic suspensions for almost all major penalties.
