Excerpt from Nomination: I have personally known Ashton and his family for many years and they have always been active in the zone. When he is not on the ice himself he could often be found at the rink cheering on his brothers as they played for the Wild. As a hockey player, Ashton has always been hard working and respectful on and off the ice and embodies what we believe every player in our zone should strive for when balancing being competitive and being a true sportsman.
