When: Saturday, June 9th
What: Street Hockey Tournament and Family Dance
Why: The community needs to raise some money to help with the expense of building an outdoor community rink.
Where: At Willowgrove Square
Time: Hockey Play: 10am-9pm, Dance: 7pm - 11pm
The Street Hockey Tournament will have Two Lanes of Play for Registration:
1) Adult (18+) - co-ed (but no minimums on male/female ratio)
2) Family (parents and kids)
Each team is to have 8 - 11 players. It will be 5 vs. 5 plus goalies on the rink. Two game minimum. Double Elimination. A and B side Final. Total 6 rinks of play all located around Willowgrove Square.
Prices:
1) Adult - registration includes pizza slice (or 2 depending on size of slice) and a beer.
- $65 per person EARLY BIRD until May 16th Midnight
- $75 per person after early bird
2) Family play
- $10 per person plus fundraising EARLY BIRD until May 16th Midnight
- $15 per person plus fundraising after early bird
We don't want the tournament to be cost prohibitive, but we need to raise money for the community rink so fundraising contribution is appreciated and needed for this event to hit the fundraising goal of $10,000.
NOTE: Registration for the per person fee is to be completed online, fundraising contributions are to be brought to the day of the event at check-in.
