Thunder Creek Minor Hockey - Wearing Wild Jerseys!

Wild Zone pays it forward with hockey jerseys....

We are proud to be in a position to give back to other communities. The Wild zone has donated a number of older jerseys sets to the Thunder Creek Minor Hockey League. This league is made up of six small northern communities in and around Pelican Lake. The league had been looking for jerseys and hockey equipment to help maintain the program and to get more kids involved in hockey.

For the last few years, we’ve had a number of jersey sets taken out of the rotation due to wear and tear as well as a change in sponsors. The Executive wanted to find a community that could possibly use the older sets. After a few inquiries, Thunder Creek was brought to our attention as it would be a great fit for the need.

Even Chamakese from Pelican Lake drove to Saskatoon this week and picked up the jerseys. He said that they will wear the Wild jerseys with pride!

A game took place Thursday and the coaches, parents and especially the players were beyond appreciative to the Wild Zone for donating the jersey sets to them.

All the best to Thunder Creek league and to the players learning and developing the game of hockey!
