Notice of Motion on Revisions to Constitution.

The Wild Zone X Executive is providing Notice of Motion on revisions to the Constitution to be voted upon at the 2021 Wild Zone X Annual General Meeting April 13, 2021. 
 
Please note that due to the global pandemic and provincial health orders, no Wild AGM was held in April 2020. All positions up for election in the April 2020 remained with the current incumbent and will now be voted on at the April 13, 2021 meeting. 
 
Revisions as below:

III. Executive Council & IV. Election of Officers & VI. Duties and Responsibilities…Program Coordinators & IX Meetings (J):   
  1. Motion: To Change Coordinator titles of Initiation to U7; Novice to U9; Atom to U11; PeeWee to U13; Bantam to U15; and Midget to U18.
  2. Motion: To remove the No Body Checking Coordinator position from the Executive Council. 
IV Election of Officers
  1. Motion to have the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner elected in alternate years.
  2. Motion to have the Commissioner, Treasurer, Equipment Manager, U9 Coordinator, U11 Coordinator, U15 Coordinator elected in even years (change from odd years)
  3. Motion to have the Assistant Commissioner, Secretary/Communications/Website Coordinator, Registrar, U7 Coordinator, U13 Coordinator and U18 Coordinator elected in odd years (changed from even years)
     
VI. (a) Commissioner Duties & Responsibilities of Executive Council Members. Motion: Position needs to be an individual who has served a minimum of two years on the Executive Council.                                                              

XXIII. Finances. (c)  Motion: To add the Registrar as an additional signing officer. 
 
Election of members to the following positions:
Assistant Commissioner (2 yrs)
Registrar (2 yrs)
Secretary/Communications/Web (2 yrs)
U7 Coordinator (2 yrs)
U13 Coordinator (2 yrs)
U18 Midget Coordinator (2 yrs)

Duties for the above positions can be found in the Constitution.


Additional information regarding virtual meeting for the Wild AGM scheduled for April 13, 2021 at 7:00 pm will be sent out soon.
