Canlan Sports (Jemini & Ag) Proof of Vaccination Policy for those 18+ Effective Oct. 1

2021-09-29

Canlan Sports today provided SMHA with information that, effective October 1, 2021, their two facilities - Jemini and AgriPlace - will require proof of vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test to enter their buildings from those who are 18+...

MESSAGE FROM CANLAN SPORTS SEPTEMBER 28, 2021:

Starting October 1, we will require all adults (18+) to produce proof of double vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours to gain entry into Canlan Sports Jemini & Agriplace.

Canlan Sports will be implementing Proof of Vaccination controls as required by the Province of Saskatchewan.

Your safety continues to be our top priority at Canlan Sports, and we remain committed to working with the province to protect Saskatchewanians and ensure that you continue to have safe access to recreation and team sports.

Here’s what you need to know:

If you have proof of vaccination:
  • The province will be releasing a SaskVax verifier app with a QR code to verify that you have been double vaccinated, upon which you may enter our sports complex. Learn more and register for your account here.
  • All adults must provide proof of vaccination (both doses) and pass the two-week (14 day) waiting period prior to October 1st.
  • It is unknown at this time if youth will be required to show proof of vaccination. We are awaiting final word from the province.
If you do not have proof of vaccination:
  • If you are not fully vaccinated, you must provide a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of your visit.
  • Your negative COVID-19 test must be completed at 3 approved rapid test facilities: Quantum GenetixNobel and Haztec.
  • Your test must be done within 72 hours of your visit and validated by one of the companies mentioned above.
You must present a valid photo ID when presenting your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test.

There will also be only one entrance into the sports complex. We do not expect this process to take very long, but please arrive earlier than you normally would to ensure your game, practice, or program time isn’t affected.

We understand that change can be tough, but we’re here to ensure that your safety will continue to be our top priority.

We will continue to keep you in the loop as more information becomes available and can’t wait to see you on your next visit at Canlan Sports.
