We would ask teams from all levels and age groups to please check your schedules for updates.  We have had to make some changes to correct some ice times that were inputted incorrectly originally.  Your team may have an ice time that has been  changed by 15 minutes to properly accommodate an ice flood or moved from Jemini 2 to Jemini 4 for example.

Here are some specific examples:

IP Beginner - commencing Saturday, December 3rd, if your team has an ice time scheduled on Jemini 2 it has been moved to Jemini 4 from 11:45 am-12:45 pm.

Peewee Comets &  Non-Contact - if your team has practices on Jemini 4 on Saturdays, commencing December 3rd, please check your schedule as ice times have been changed.

Midget Comets - If your team has a practice ice time on Saturday, December 10th on Jemini 4, please check your schedule as some of the times have been changed.

General Update:

IP and Novice - schedules for games and practices complete through the end of February.  March schedule will be issued in late January 2012.

Atom 1 and Atom 2 - game and practice schedules complete through the end of February.  March schedules will be issued in late January.

Atom 3 - game schedule completed through end of February.  Practices complete through Christmas break.  Full ice practices for January and February will be added to schedule by the end of tomorrow.  Sorry for the delay on this schedule - we wante dto make sure that all of the correct ice was assigned to the league.

Tier 2 and Tier 3 Schedules:
The SMHA is grateful to Wild Zone Commissioner, Tracey Brown, who stepped up to offer her time to assist in the restructure of the Tier 2 and Tier 3 schedules.

The Tier 2 and Tier 3 game schedules have all been re-worked so that teams will play the appropriate number of rounds prior to the Provincial Play Downs.  

We are currently working on making sure that all teams within each league receive an equitable number of games and practices by late February for league playoffs.

Practices have been assigned though to the Christmas break for all teams in tier 2 and tier 3.   The practices for January and February will be added as soon as all game ice time slots are used as required.  Peewee Tier 2 has had practices assigned during the February break as well.

If you see a spot on your schedule where your team has been assigned two ice times in one day, please let us know and we will correct it.  Some of the scheduling has been done at odd hours!

If you have notified us of such a day in the New Year, it will be corrected as soon as we finish the Atom 3 practice schedule.
